In a couple of weeks’ time Rev. Dr Chris Mulherin, Executive Director of ISCAST, will be joining us to speak to the very relevant issue of how science relates to our Christian faith. This event is being run in partnership with Claremont Baptist Church, who are hosting the evening, and ISCAST. We believe what Chris has to offer will be of great benefit to those involved in ministry through SU and the local church, so please prayerfully consider coming along.
Chris has worked for Scripture Union, taught engineering, and spent 13 years in Argentina as a missionary with his wife Lindy and their five boys. In Argentina, he worked for the national student Christian group and pastored a church in the northwestern city of Tucumán. Chris has published articles and book chapters in the media and in academic works. He has also produced ABC Radio National programs, and he blogged on the Global Atheist Convention for ABC RN. He currently teaches and tutors at various universities in Melbourne in philosophy, history of science, Christian apologetics, and climate change.
Chris will give his presentation at 7:30pm, followed by hot drinks and a light supper at 8:30pm. We would love to see you there.
