Character, integrity and spiritual formation are foundational aspects of every LEAD camp. You’ll explore what the Word says about Christian leadership and be challenged to firstly lead yourself, before also leading others. Each camp covers one of three topics over the week:
– “Ministry Jesus-Style” – “Follow My Example: Insights from Paul” – “David and Saul: A Tale of Two Kings”
Learn from some of the best when it comes to ministry skills and tools. Our LEAD Camp leaders have decades of first-hand experience running quality church and SU programs. Every LEAD camp includes practical sessions such as:
– I’ve Got My First Aid Certificate, Now What? How to Provide First Aid on Programs – Working with Kids Who’ve Experienced Trauma – McGyver Facilitation: Running Activities When All You’ve Got’s a Roll of Duct Tape and a Chocolate Bar – Packing, Tying Down and Reversing a Trailer – Assessing and Managing Risk – Food Handling and Cooking – Ice Breakers and Energising Games – Small Group Facilitation
Grow your confidence as you:
– Give things a go in our experiential learning sessions – Experience reflection and down time to process your experiences – Receive feedback from the LEAD team who will invest in and support you throughout the week.
